First Community Bank has announced the hiring of Brandon Scallion as vice president, commercial loan officer at the financial institution’s location at 310 Highway 62 East in Mountain Home. With 20 years of banking experience, Scallion will be responsible for producing a variety of commercial loans as well as generating and managing a portfolio of business relationships.
“I am excited to join the First Community Bank family,” said Scallion. “I look forward to working with my new colleagues and helping out in the community.”
Scallion earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas and his graduate degree with concentration in community bank management from Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He successfully completed all of the bank examination training schools at the FDIC Seidman Center in Fairfax, Virginia. He and his wife, Christin, have two children, Landon, 11, and Saylor, 8.
