This position is for Batesville, AR:
The Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for reviewingall appraisals that are received for accuracy and compliance with CollateralUnderwriter. The coordinator will review the UCDP SSR findings report fordiscrepancy, compliance, over evaluation and appraisal quality risk flags andsubsequently request corrections and updated SSR and/or Collateral Underwriterfindings. The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact forappraisers, underwriters and processors for appraisal corrections in additionto providing support to the mortgage compliance division. Using knowledge ofthe Retail Mortgage functions, operating systems, and applicable regulations,the position will provide technical assistance to the entire Mortgage team.They will work closely with our Appraisers to correct/update reports as needed,and communicate with Mortgage Operations staff on outcome and will beresponsible for ensuring that all Retail Mortgage appraisals are in compliancewith all applicable Federal and State Banking regulations. This positionutilizes a firm understanding of appraisals, and appraisal laws as they relateto mortgage loan processing.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
· Review all incoming appraisals for accuracy andcompliance with Federal and State Banking Laws
· Delivery of appraisal reports to Fannie Mae using the UCDP portal
· Review SSR reports and the appraisal in Fannie Mae's CollateralUnderwriter
· Work closely with appraisers to update/correct reports as needed
· Review corrected appraisals for secondary market compliance
· Work closely with Processing and Underwriting staff on status ofappraisals
· Monitor and track all incoming mortgage loan appraisals from FCBAppraisal
· Provide weekly non-compliance reporting to Operations Managers to determinecorrective action Acquire in-depth knowledge of Mortgage Lending systems inorder to deliver appraisals through UCDP
· Acquire in-depth knowledge of Mortgage Lending systems in order toensure systems are updated with current status of appraisal
· Comply with regulations, bank policies and procedures
· Attend department and company meetings and/or training which maybe outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
