Basic Function:
The Appraisal Review Specialist is responsible forreviewing and ensuring that the Bank receives appropriately prepared appraisalsfor use in real estate transactions. This position provides oversight ofvarious valuation functions and conducts quality reviews. The primary role ofthis position is to review and evaluate appraisals for quality, reportreconsiderations, compliance and service level standards.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
· Review incoming appraisals
· Ensures accuracy, quality, and compliance in all documentation
· Follows up on appraisal revisions with appraiser
· Utilize desk review skills to perform research and analysis onreal estate appraisals
· Perform quality control on outsourced valuation products andservices
· Compliance with all government regulations including the BankSecrecy Act and related regulations
· Comply with regulations, bank policies and procedures
· Attend department and company meetings and/or training which maybe outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
· Perform anyother related duties as required or assigned
