First Community Bank has announced the promotion of Cindy Corbit to assistant vice president, merchant services sales and support officer at the bank’s Searcy Main location.
Corbit, who first joined First Community Bank in 2008, has built a long and diverse career serving customers across multiple branches. She began her journey with the bank as a teller in Bald Knob before moving to the Searcy Highway 16 branch in 2011, where she worked as a teller and in new accounts. In 2015, she transitioned to the University branch, where she has since taken on growing responsibilities in concierge banking and merchant services.
“It is so easy to do my job because I believe in what I do and whom I work for,” said Corbit. “First Community Bank is truly a bank that takes care of its customers and its employees. I have always said that I love working for First Community Bank, and it shows. I’ve been here for 15 years. Customer satisfaction is my main goal because it’s not just First Community Bank’s name out there, it’s mine as well.”
David Wood, executive vice president, regional president for the Searcy and Cabot regions as well as Little Rock, Conway, and Northwest Arkansas regions, commended Corbit for her dedication and customer focus.

In addition to her career at the bank, Corbit previously worked in insurance and food service management, bringing with her a broad background in customer service. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children, nine grandchildren, and her three dogs, Sarabeth, Bethanie, and Seanna. She also enjoys camping and fishing.
Corbit is based at the bank’s Searcy Main location at 2401 W. Beebe Capps Expressway where the lobby hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., drive-through hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday hours are from 8:00 a.m. to noon. With the convenience of the customer in mind, First Community Bank has additional Searcy locations at 800 East Beebe Capps Expressway and 2801 East Race Street.
