First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of both David Wood and Allen Williams to the position of executive vice president, regional president, in their respective regions. These promotions reflect their exemplary leadership and commitment to the continued growth and success of the organization.

Wood, who joined First Community Bank in 2001, has been a cornerstone of the bank’s growth. In his expanded role, he will continue to oversee the Searcy and Cabot regions, which include Searcy, Bald Knob, Cabot, and Beebe, while now also supporting the Little Rock, Conway, and Northwest Arkansas regions, working closely with each of the community presidents under his oversight.

"I am deeply honored to take on this new role," said Wood. "Having been with First Community Bank for nearly 25 years, I am proud of what we have accomplished and excited about the opportunities ahead."

Wood has more than 40 years of banking expertise. A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Wood holds a bachelor’s of science in banking and finance, as well as the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Active in his community, Wood has served as past president of the United Way of White County and the Searcy Lions Club, as well as the Children’s Safety Center board of directors and the Searcy regional Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He and his wife, Pam, reside in Searcy. The couple have two sons: Zach (wife Rae; two daughters, Ryleigh and Madelyn) and Que.

Williams will also expand his responsibilities, continuing to oversee the Jonesboro region, which includes Jonesboro, Bay, Lepanto, and Brookland, and now also supporting the Harrison, Mountain Home, and Missouri regions, working closely with each of the community presidents under his oversight.

"I am thrilled to step into this expanded role," said Williams. "I look forward to continuing to work with our talented team to drive growth and success across our regions."

Williams has nearly 40 years of banking expertise, and he came to First Community Bank in 2013. A graduate of Arkansas State University, Williams holds a bachelor’s of science in finance, and attended the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Delta Symphony Orchestra, the Jonesboro Municipal Airport Commission, the Arkansas State University Red Wolves Foundation board of directors, the Impackt Club board of directors, and encourages his employees to serve and to give likewise. He and his wife, Danna, reside in Jonesboro. The couple have three boys: Chandler (wife, Darby), Spencer, and Cooper.

Dale Cole, chairman and chief executive officer, expressed confidence in Wood’s and Williams's abilities to lead in their new roles. "David and Allen have demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership throughout their careers with First community Bank. Their promotions are well-deserved, and I am confident they will continue to contribute significantly to our organization's success," said Cole.
