First Community Bank has announced that Tabitha Eddington has been promoted to community president for the Harrison region. With 21 years of experience in banking, Eddington previously served as branch manager and commercial lender upon joining the financial institution in 2019 to open the bank's first location in the Harrison market.
Eddington earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Arkansas. She is an active member in her community and currently serves as president of the Harrison school district PTA council, chairperson for the city of Harrison homeless committee, and chairperson of the fundraising committee for Camp Jack, a local veteran’s resource center. She and her husband, Chuck, have four children: Ty (17), Shelby (17), Kennedi (16), and Cooper (13).
Eddington commented, “I am so grateful for the confidence and trust that our bank’s leadership has placed in me. Our local team of dedicated bankers works very hard to provide extraordinary customer service and to support our community, just as a true community bank should! Harrison embraced our bank from the very beginning, allowing us to grow our customer base at a rapid pace. Whether it is helping families purchase a home or a car, providing solid deposit products and rates, or loaning area businesses capital to open, operate or expand, we believe that our community partnerships are only just getting started. I am privileged to have the opportunity to continue leading our amazing team, and I am excited to see where we go from here.”
