First Community Bank is thrilled to announce the commencement of an extensive renovation and expansion project at its Newport branch, located at 2525 Malcolm Avenue.

Frank A. Rogers Company (FARCO) has been selected as the contractor for the project. Tim Yelvington, of RPPY Architects, is the designer behind the renovation of the existing 1,245 square foot building, including a 2,031 square foot addition. The remodel encompasses the addition of four offices, a safe deposit box room, a staff lounge, and improved bathroom facilities.
The expansion project aims to provide a more comfortable and efficient banking experience for our customers. It will also create a community space that can be utilized for various events and gatherings.
Construction is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2024.

The Newport location opened on January 22, 2019, and is a one-stop financial center offering a variety of financial services to its customers. The bank’s lobby is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the drive-thru is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays. First Community Bank takes pride in offering competitive loan and deposit products, along with a robust suite of online and electronic banking services, including mobile banking and deposits, online bill pay, online/mobile account opening, and custom eAlerts.
