First Community Bank has promoted two experienced bankers, Lauren Stott and Kimberly Sours, at the downtown Batesville branch located at 301 E. Main Street in Batesville.

Stott has been promoted to branch manager of the Main Street Batesville branch. In her role, she will oversee the operations at the branch while managing resources and staff.

Stott is an active member in her community and has served in numerous non-profit volunteer roles, including most recently with All Hands on Deck, a grassroots organization geared toward building a community skate park. She and her husband, Todd, have two sons, Boston, 12, and Riley, 9.

“I have been given the incredible opportunity to serve the Main Street location as branch manager,” said Stott. “My passion for Main Street Batesville and my love for banking have intersected, and I could not be more excited for what is to come! Main Street is just as much an experience as it is a place, and I am blessed to be able to be a part of it at this capacity.”

Sours has been promoted to head teller for the downtown Batesville branch. In her role, she will supervise the teller line that processes a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.

Sours said, “It is an honor to work for a company that truly puts community first. I am blessed to help serve our customers; they are the best! We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to make an impact on people’s lives.”

“First Community Bank continues to succeed and grow due to the efforts of our outstanding team,” said Kenny Gerhardt, senior vice president, teller operations manager. “It is a pleasure to congratulate Lauren and Kim on their well-deserved promotions.”
