First Community Bank is excited to announce the formation of the Adventure First Travel Club in its Conway market. Building on the success of similar travel clubs in other areas, this new offering will connect community members through exciting trips, social events, and unique adventures across the globe.
The Adventure First Travel Club will officially kick off with a launch party on January 6 at 5:30 p.m. at First Community Bank’s Conway branch located at 766 Harkrider Street. Guests can enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, learn details about upcoming scheduled trips, and provide input for future events tailored specifically for club members.
The club will be led by Lori Melton, senior vice president, business development officer, with support from Jackie Bennett, vice president, commercial lending, and Janet McPhate, assistant vice president, branch manager at Conway Harkrider.
Melton shared her excitement about the program’s launch: “Adventure First is designed to bring people together through shared experiences, whether that’s exploring destinations close to home or across the world. This club is for anyone looking to make new memories, and we welcome travelers of all ages to join us.”
Membership is open to individuals 18 years or older, and there is no upper age limit. To travel with the club, you must either be a First Community Bank customer or the guest of a customer.
The club’s lineup includes opportunities for day trips, 1-3 day excursions, and longer international adventures. Among the scheduled trips are:
• Southern Italy & Sicily – September 5-17, 2025
• Tropical Costa Rica – December 8-16, 2025
• California Dreamin’: Monterey, Yosemite and Napa – April 13-20, 2026
In addition to travel, members will enjoy exclusive social events and activities, such as Bank Bingo, regional day trips to destinations like Crystal Bridges, Oaklawn, and Wilson, AR and the Johnny Cash boyhood home, with even more planned adventures like Normandy & Paris in Fall 2026.
Melton emphasized that the club is about more than just travel stating, “This is a chance for our customers to connect, form friendships, and experience incredible adventures together. It’s another way we strive to support our community and enhance the lives of those we serve.”
The bank’s lobby and drive-thru is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
