First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Dana Cooper to assistant vice president, branch manager of the Greensborough Village branch in Jonesboro. Cooper brings with her a wealth of experience, having spent 30 years in the banking industry, and most recently having served as a personal banker with First Community Banks Mountain Home location from June 2023 to May 2024.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to return to Jonesboro and be a part of a great team with First Community Bank," said Cooper. "The Greensborough Village branch is located in a thriving part of the community, and I am thrilled to be a part of this growth. I hope to reconnect with my customers and get involved in the community."

Cooper joined First Community Bank in 2023 and has extensive experience in various banking roles, including teller, new accounts, online banking coordinator, retail operations, and management positions. She holds several certifications from the Arkansas Bankers Association and is a graduate of Brookland High School.

"Dana's promotion is a testament to her dedication and expertise in the banking industry," said Allen Williams, Jonesboro market president for First Community Bank. "Her commitment to providing excellent customer service and her passion for community involvement make her the perfect fit to lead our Greensborough Village branch. We are confident that Dana will continue to drive our mission of community banking and foster strong relationships in Jonesboro."

Outside of her professional achievements, Cooper enjoys crafting, DIY projects, gardening, and visiting flea markets and estate sales. She also loves spending time on the lake with her family and trips to Branson. Cooper has three adult children, two grandchildren, and one more on the way.

Construction of the new branch at Greensborough Village is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024. In addition to the coming Greensborough Village branch, First Community Bank has locations in Jonesboro at 630 Southwest Drive, 1617 South Caraway Road, 222 East Washington Avenue, as well as a mortgage office at 1823 Grant Avenue.
