First Community Bank has donated $25,000 to the Baxter County Library Foundation in support of the Baxter County Library and its ongoing efforts to serve the Mountain Home community.
The Baxter County Library Foundation provides vital financial support for the library by helping to sustain daily operations while also funding special exhibits and educational programs that enrich the lives of residents throughout Baxter County.
“Our local libraries are more than just buildings filled with books. They are gathering places for learning, discovery and community connection,” said Steve Dunn, community president for Mountain Home at First Community Bank. “We are proud to support the Baxter County Library Foundation and the meaningful work they do to ensure these resources remain strong and accessible for generations to come.”
Through its support, the Foundation helps expand programming for children, teens and adults, bringing educational opportunities, cultural exhibits and community events to the region.
“At First Community Bank, investing in education and access to resources is one way we live out our commitment to the communities we serve,” Dunn added. “The Baxter County Library plays an important role in fostering lifelong learning here in Mountain Home, and we are honored to partner with the Foundation in support of that mission.”
