First Community Bank is pleased to announce that Chad Merriman has joined the bank as vice president, commercial lender. Merriman will focus on serving the lending needs of Mountain Home and surrounding communities, including Gassville, Bull Shoals, Cotter, Flippin, Yellville, Midway, Henderson, and Salem.

Merriman brings 11 years of experience in the banking industry and holds an NMLS certification. A native of Mountain Home, he has completed several banking schools and courses throughout his career. Beyond his professional work, Merriman is an active member of Rotary International and serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Mountain Home. He also mentors students at Mountain Home High School, demonstrating his commitment to supporting future generations.
Merriman and his wife, Julie, have a daughter, Logann Dearmore, and son-in-law, Hunter Dearmore, who serves as an officer with the Mountain Home Police Department. In his spare time, Merriman enjoys working on cars and motorcycles, especially classic models, and building custom bikes.
