First Community Bank is proud to announce the addition of Nuvia Morton as vice president, business development and consumer lending for the Rogers market.

Morton, a graduate of Rogers High School, began her career in banking while still in high school and has continued to build her expertise over the past 28 years. In her new role, she will focus on building consumer and business relationships, strengthening lending opportunities, and fostering community partnerships throughout the Rogers market.

“I’ve had a passion for community engagement and involvement since my high school days, and over the past 28 years of banking, I’ve had the privilege of building relationships through events, outreach, and education,” Morton said. “Joining First Community Bank allows me to continue bridging our community with financial understanding, empowering individuals and businesses to grow and thrive.”

Morton holds a Consumer Lending Certification, Supervisor School Certification, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Certification, and is a certified mortgage lender through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). She is actively involved in community service, including Dress for Success, Hustle in Heels through the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce, fundraising and speaking for the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County, and serving with the chaplaincy unit at Washington Regional Hospital.

Outside of her professional and community involvement, Morton and her husband, Frank, reside in Springdale with their three daughters. As a family, they enjoy drag racing, often spending weekends at tracks in Asbury, Missouri; Centerville, Arkansas; and Ozark, Missouri.

“Nuvia’s extensive background in banking and her passion for connecting with people make her a tremendous asset to our Rogers team,” said Natalie Bartholomew, community president for Northwest Arkansas at First Community Bank. “Her expertise in consumer lending, coupled with her dedication to serving the community, will strengthen our ability to meet the needs of individuals and businesses throughout Northwest Arkansas.”
