First Community Bank has announced that Nikki Smith recently joined the bank as credit analyst for the Harrison region. With nearly five years of experience in the banking industry, she will play a key role in recommending new credit and extensions of credit through research and analysis of customers’ financial documents.

“This community has invested and believed in me so much over my lifetime,” said Smith. “I am excited to join a bank that allows me to return that favor, because they are so committed to community enrichment. I’m thrilled to be working with such a great team.”

Smith is a graduate of Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She and her husband, Lendel, have a daughter, Laityn, 5. Smith has also been a long-time volunteer with the Springdale Senior Center and the Area Agency on Aging.

“We are delighted to add Nikki to our First Community Bank team,” said Tabitha Eddington, senior vice president, branch manager/lending. “She will be a tremendous help to us to stay competitive and continue providing our customers with leading-edge financial services.”
