First Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Wilhelm as vice president, merchant services manager. Based in the bank’s Northwest Arkansas market, Wilhelm will support customers and team members across the bank’s entire footprint.
In his new role, Wilhelm will lead the growth and development of First Community Bank’s merchant services portfolio. His focus includes expanding new merchant relationships, strengthening and retaining existing accounts, and equipping bank team members to confidently introduce merchant services solutions to business customers.
Wilhelm brings more than 20 years of banking experience and two years of insurance experience to First Community Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas and has built his career around long-term client relationships, strategic growth, and dependable service.
“Joining First Community Bank feels like I was just welcomed into a new family,” Wilhelm said. “The bank’s focus on the community and the customers they serve truly stands out to me. I’m excited to work alongside our teams to expand merchant services in a way that supports local businesses and strengthens the communities we call home.”
Laura Nix, senior vice president, treasury management director for First Community Bank, said Wilhelm’s depth of experience and steady leadership will be instrumental as the bank continues to enhance its business services.
“Kevin brings more than two decades of banking experience and a strong understanding of relationship-driven service,” Nix said. “Merchant services is a key component of how we support our business customers, and we are confident his leadership will further strengthen this important area of the bank.”
Outside of work, Wilhelm has spent the past decade coaching youth baseball and basketball and contributing to local families and community programs. He and his wife, Brittani, have four children, aged 19, 15, 8, and 4. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and following Razorback athletics.
