First Community Bank is excited to announce a grand opening celebration for its newly renovated branch at 2525 Malcolm Avenue in Newport. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch immediately following the ribbon cutting.

The renovation project, led by Frank A. Rogers Company (FARCO) and designed by Tim Yelvington of RPPY Architects, transformed the existing 1,245-square-foot building and added 2,031 square feet of new space. The remodel includes four new offices, a safe deposit box room, a staff lounge, and updated restroom facilities.
The expanded space is designed to provide customers with a more efficient banking experience and a versatile community venue for events and gatherings.
Opened on January 22, 2019, the Newport branch serves as a full-service financial center, offering a wide range of services. The bank’s lobby hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a drive-thru open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays. First Community Bank provides competitive loan and deposit options, alongside a comprehensive suite of online and electronic banking services, including mobile banking, online bill pay, and more.
