First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Jonathan Hix to dealer direct loan officer. In his new position, Hix will be responsible for lending and managing floor plans for dealers nationwide.
Hix brings more than 10 years of banking experience to his role, having served in a variety of positions including teller, assistant branch manager, teller trainer, and multiple roles within dealer direct, including loan support, funding, and relationship management. His broad experience and strong understanding of the dealer direct department position him well for continued success.
“I am so thankful and truly excited for what’s ahead,” Hix said. “I appreciate this team and the opportunity to keep growing and contributing.”
Hix is a graduate of Sulphur Rock High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in electronic media production from Harding University.
“Jonathan has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to both our customers and his team,” said Steve Wilcoxon, president of the dealer direct department. “His experience across multiple areas of the bank, along with his dedication to building relationships, make him a valuable asset as we continue to grow our dealer direct operations.”
Hix and his wife, Brittinie, reside in the area with their two children, Payton and Greyson. He enjoys spending time with his family, including trips to the beach, visiting theme parks, and supporting Payton’s involvement in Southside volleyball. He is also a lifelong Razorbacks fan and values staying connected to his community.
