First Community Bank is pleased to announce a partnership with veteran trust officer, Sandy Irby, who will be consulting with the institution as a trust advisor. Irby has over 35 years of experience in community bank trust departments, with more than 25 years as a senior vice president managing trust and financial services divisions.

In her new advisory role, Irby will focus on trust business development, with a specific emphasis on client acquisition in the Mountain Home market. She will also assist bankers in identifying and referring trust and investment prospects.

“I am excited to join First Community Bank and contribute to its continued growth and success,” said Irby. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to serve the needs of customers in the Mountain Home area and beyond.”

Irby is a graduate of multiple Cannon trust schools and holds former designations as a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist. She has served on the Arkansas Bankers Association Trust Committee and taught at the state trust school for several years.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Irby is actively involved in the community, serving as a board member and past chair for the Baxter Health Foundation, as well as a current member of the hospital’s investment committee. She also serves as secretary on the ASUMH Board of Governors and vice chair of the Baxter County Sheriff’s Foundation board of directors. Irby is a member of Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO), Big Creek Book Club, and Friends of the North Fork and White Rivers.

Irby and her husband, Mark, are natives of Mountain Home and appreciate having lived in the community they love. The couple have been retired until now and she is looking forward to her new chapter with First Community Bank.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sandy Irby to our team at First Community Bank,” said Steve Dunn, community president for the Mountain Home region. “Her wealth of experience and deep roots in the Mountain Home community make her an invaluable asset as we continue to grow and serve our customers in the region.”
