First Community Bank has announced that Whitney Massey has joined the marketing department as assistant vice president, community engagement. In her role, Massey supports community engagement efforts across the bank’s entire footprint, helping plan and coordinate events that strengthen relationships and highlight the bank’s commitment to serving local communities.
“Joining First Community Bank’s marketing team was a career shift that I wasn’t expecting; however, I’m honored and look forward to contributing to the organization’s mission through creativity, collaboration, and growth,” said Massey.
A Batesville native, Massey is a graduate of Batesville High School and began her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has practiced as a licensed dental hygienist since 2009 while also working in design for a local decorator.
Deeply involved in the local arts community, Massey has served as a board member for both the North Arkansas Dance Theatre and Batesville Community Theatre. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, Chloe (15) and Clinton (12), and her family.

Massey’s office is located at First Community Bank’s main headquarters in Batesville. The lobby at First Community Bank’s Batesville headquarters, located at 1325 Harrison Street, operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The drive-through is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Additional Batesville branches include the downtown location at 301 E. Main Street, the Eagle Mountain branch at 3 Eagle Mountain Boulevard, and the Southside branch at 1 Allen Chapel Road, ensuring convenient access across the community.
