The Adventure First Travel Club of First Community Bank will host preview presentations for two of its premier 2026 tours at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, at the First Community Bank’s headquarters building at Harrison and St. Louis Streets in Batesville. The featured tours include:
• “Treasures of Egypt,” is an amazing 12-day tour departing on January 23, 2026. Travel Club members will experience thousands of years of history, legend, and lore as they walk among the timeless wonders of Ancient Egypt, such as the Great Pyramids of Giza.
• “Discover the Pacific Northwest & California,” from May 16-24, 2026. From the wilds of Mount St. Helens to the giant redwoods, travelers will fall under the spell of the Pacific coastline as they explore the natural beauty from Seattle to San Francisco.
While viewing the “Treasures of Egypt,” travelers will follow the allure of the Nile River, uncover complex legends, and retrace the steps of the legendary pharaohs of Egypt. And they will stand in awe before the iconic Sphinx and the Great Pyramids, which are the only one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World still standing.
The tour is highlighted by a seven-night cruise on the Nile, the world’s longest river. In Luxor, guests will view the tombs of the Kings Tutankhamun and Ramses VI at the Valley of the Kings, and will also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the impressive Temple of Karnak, a 4,000-year-old religious complex.
Travelers can also extend their Egyptian adventure by purchasing a four-night pre-tour extension to visit Petra and the Dead Sea in Jordan, and/or a three-night post-tour extension to explore more of Cairo and Alexandria.
The cost for the “Treasures of Egypt” excursion is $4,999 per person (based on double occupancy) and $5,699 for single travelers. The price includes round-trip airfare, all hotel rooms, cruise ship passage, and 26 meals during the tour.

Back on land, the journey continues south through Olympia, stopping at the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center to learn about the incredible 1980 volcanic eruption as well as its history and geology.
The route along Oregon’s beautiful coast will make stops at Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Newport, Bandon, and Coos Bay, before a cruise on the Rogue River to explore Oregon’s wilderness.
Travelers will visit Redwood National Park’s Avenue of the Giants and later cross the Golden Gate Bridge to the famous “City by the Bay,” San Francisco.
