First Community Bank has announced that Steve Wilcoxon has been promoted to president of the financial institution’s dealer direct program.

"Steve has been a leader in this community for many years and is an asset to our company,” said Dwight Ford, executive vice president, chief lending officer for First Community Bank. “This promotion is well-deserved, because he has built a world-class team with an incredible track record—and continues to be a proven leader who can execute brilliantly.”

Wilcoxon brings a wealth of knowledge and is a known community leader having been in his role with First Community Bank for the last 15 years and in the banking industry for nearly 40 years. In his new role, Wilcoxon is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to support the growth of First Community Bank’s dealer direct lending business across all business lines and regions.

First Community Bank’s dealer direct program offers specialized financing for manufacturers, including floor plans and retail financing. Since the programs start in 2005, it has grown to service thousands of retail dealers nationwide by providing installment loans from $1,500 to $30,000 for tractors (up to 75hp), trailers, boats, power sports, motorcycles, lawn equipment, and farm equipment.

"Managing one of the top-performing departments for our bank has been such an honor. I couldn't have done it without my incredible team, who provides unparalleled personal service. The support we receive from our board and senior management makes this business one of the best places to work," said Wilcoxon.

Wilcoxon earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Arkansas. He and his wife, Angela, have four daughters and several grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys travel, hunting, fishing and spending time with family at their cabin.

First Community Bank’s dealer direct program department is located at 1401 Harrison Street in Batesville, Arkansas. The department hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
