First Community Bank has announced that Dewitt Yingling has joined the bank as senior vice president, branch manager (pending regulatory approval) and commercial lender for the financial institutions' loan production office located at 2067 West Center Street in Beebe, Arkansas. Yingling has over 39 years of experience in banking and within the financial industry. In his new position, Yingling will oversee all operations as well as lead the promotion of First Community Bank’s services within the Beebe community.

“The founding of First Community Bank is one of the best stories about Arkansas banking that I have heard in all my banking career,” said Yingling. “I remember when it took place, and I have always admired the courage and leap of faith that it took from the leaders and stockholders. You cannot help but support a bank like this, and I am excited to be able to offer our services to Beebe and the surrounding communities.”

Yingling was a 1972 graduate of Harding Academy. He earned his bachelor of arts in social science and his bachelor of science in accounting. He is an alum of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University since 1998. Yingling is very active in his community and has previously served with the following civic groups/efforts: Beebe Chamber of Commerce president (two terms); Beebe Kiwanis Club president (two terms); chairman of the White County Habitat for Humanity board; ASU-Beebe Development council; chairman of the White County Community Foundation; president of the White County Historical Society; Red Cross; United Way; Lions Club; Old Independence Regional Museum; Center on the Square Performing Arts Theater in Searcy; Badger Booster Club and several other boards.

Yingling served the Beebe area as a loan officer from 1993 until he retired in 2017. Yingling is excited to step out of retirement to enter into the next chapter in his career and continue making loans in Beebe and surrounding areas.

Yingling has a son and daughter who live in Central Arkansas. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, gardening, reading, as well as writing and studying local and family history.

“Dewitt brings many wonderful connections and wisdom to this position,” said David Wood, executive vice president and market president. “We are excited to see our footprint in Beebe grow under Dewitt’s leadership.”
