Basic Function:
This position is responsible for processing all transactions related to the opening of a new account including checking, savings, certificate of deposit, safe deposit box, IRA, etc.,following documented policy and procedure to prevent losses to the bank. This position is responsible for knowing the features and benefits of all bank products and services and cross-sell to newand existing customers. This position must present a quality professional imagefor First Community Bank and have the ability and desire to develop andmaintain quality customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Deliver consistent, high-quality service to internal and external customers and maintain strict confidentiality in all bank matters.
· Assist on the teller line as needed.
· Communicate thebenefits of bank products and services and assist customers in determining themost beneficial for their needs.
· Documentimaging/indexing
· Follow establishedprocedures verify identification of customer prior to establishing any type ofaccount.
· Complete processing ofcustomer information to open accounts.
· Present funds receivedto teller for processing and obtain receipt for customer.
· Process orders for ATM/Debit cards for all branches.
· Effectively organizeand plan workflow to perform job functions in a timely manner.
· Promote all bankservices to customers cross-selling to new and existing customers.
· Resolve customerproblems either through personal action or referral to other bank staff.
· As required, allow customers access to safe deposit boxes following established procedures.
· Promptly and successfully complete all compliance training as determined by compliancedepartment.
· Attend department and company meetings/training which may be scheduled outside of normal working hours.
· As requested, assistin the training of new employees.
· Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
