Basic Function:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist loan review with analyzing and gathering data within the new software platform used to assess the bank's Allowance for Credit Losses. Furthermore, this position is responsible for assisting other departments with data analysis and reports.  Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining data and datain structure.  This position must present a quality, professional image for First Community Bank and have the desire and ability to develop and maintain quality customer relationships.

 

Essential Duties andResponsibilities

 

  • Deliver consistent, high quality service to internal and external customers and maintain strict confidentiality in all bank matters.
  • Review loan quality for the purpose of identifying potential credit and regulatory problems and ensure conformity to bank policy and procedure.
  • Assist the Loan Review Officer in the completion of collateral reviews.
  • Monitor credit policy exceptions, and past due credits and report issues to Loan Review Officer.
  • Support Loan Review Officer in achieving satisfactory regulatory and internal audits.
  • Assist lenders each quarter with Problem Loan Status Reports and produce other loan related reports for management and/or Board of Directors.
  • Promptly and successfully complete all compliance training as determined by the compliance department. Attend department and company meetings/training which may be scheduled outside of normal work hours.
  • Obtain knowledge and training with the bank's new software vendor concerning the Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL).
  • Utilize the ACL software's Data Warehouse to create various reports for Management and the Board of Directors
  • Attend department and company meetings/trainings which may be outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced training in Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for long periods
  • Able to attend after hours meetings or events
