First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Tyler Choate to senior vice president, commercial lending.
In his role, Choate will continue to grow the First Community Bank brand and franchise throughout Little Rock and Central Arkansas. He works closely with customers, businesses and community leaders to strengthen relationships, expand business opportunities and support the bank’s continued growth throughout the region.

Choate brings 20 years of banking experience to his role. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Arkansas in 2005 and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, in 2012.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Choate is actively involved in the Central Arkansas community. He serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas and the Homebuilders Association of Greater Little Rock.

Choate and his wife, Marisa, have two sons, Theodore and Everett, and a Boykin Spaniel named Bogey. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, canoeing, golfing and cooking.
