First Community Bank recently hosted its 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Course at Eagle Mountain, welcoming 124 golfers and nearly 50 local businesses to raise $35,000 for the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. This year’s contributions bring the event’s lifetime total to more than $482,000 in support of the Ranch’s mission to provide safe, stable housing for Arkansas children in need.
“As the presenting sponsor, we are proud to see how our community continues to rally behind this cause year after year,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer for First Community Bank. “It’s a day of fun, but more importantly, it’s a day that makes a real difference in the lives of Arkansas children.”
Matthew Cleveland, chief development officer for the Ranch, added, “We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from First Community Bank and everyone who participates in this tournament. The funds raised help us continue to provide a safe, nurturing home for children who have experienced trauma or instability. This event is a powerful reminder of how a caring community can change lives.”
The tournament’s success was made possible thanks to the generosity of sponsors at every level:
Gold Sponsors: Spartan Mowers & UTVs (lunch), Truck Farms (golf carts), FARCO/Precise (poker run), Wood Family Dealerships (hole-in-one), Lyon College (short game challenge).
