First Community Bank is pleased to announce that Angela Connell has been named senior vice president, communications director for the financial institution. Connell is located at the bank’s headquarters in Batesville. Connell, a Batesville native, has been with First Community Bank since July of 2019.
Connell graduated from Batesville High School in 2002 and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Arkansas State University, majoring in journalism with an emphasis on public relations and minoring in interdisciplinary family studies. With nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, she has developed expertise in media buying, public relations strategy, copywriting, and speechwriting.
“I’m excited to continue my work in this new capacity,” Connell said. “First Community Bank is dedicated to fostering genuine relationships and supporting our community, and I look forward to furthering these efforts in my expanded role.”

Connell is also an active member of her community, serving on the board of Family Violence Prevention. She resides in Batesville with her husband, James, and their two children, Jackson and Madi Claire.
The lobby at First Community Bank’s Batesville headquarters, located at 1325 Harrison Street, operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The drive-through is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Additional Batesville branches include the downtown location at 301 E. Main Street, the Eagle Mountain branch at 3 Eagle Mountain Boulevard, and the Southside branch at 1 Allen Chapel Road, ensuring convenient access across the community.
