Zelle® Makes Sending Money Digitally to Friends and Family Fast, Safe and Easy for More Than 142 Million Mobile Banking Customers

First Community Bank has announced that Zelle is now available on its mobile banking platform. Zelle enables person-to-person (P2P) payment capabilities for all First Community Bank consumer banking customers.

"At First Community Bank, we're continually exploring new and innovative ways to enhance our customer experience. We're proud that Zelle is now available to our customers in our mobile app," said Dale Cole, chairman and chief executive officer of First Community Bank. "P2P payments play an increasingly important role in the digital banking ecosystem, and offering Zelle in our app provides our customers with a fast, safe, and easy way to send money to friends, family, and others they trust."

Partnering with Zelle is another element in the next chapter in how First Community Bank is investing in and enhancing its digital and mobile customer experience. Zelle allows funds to be sent from one bank account to another, typically within minutes[1], by using only a recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number.
