First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Ronald Richardson to senior vice president, digital banking manager.

In his new role, Richardson oversees the bank’s consumer and retail digital banking team while managing daily digital banking operations across all First Community Bank markets. He leads the implementation of new electronic banking products and services, oversees enhancements to existing digital platforms and works to ensure customers receive a secure, reliable and convenient digital banking experience.

“I am humbled by the trust and confidence the board of directors and executive leadership team have in me and our retail digital banking efforts,” Richardson said. “We have a great team who works hard every day to ensure the digital banking experience is as good as it can be for our customers.”

Richardson is serving in his second tenure with First Community Bank. He began his career with Community Business Resources in 2017 as a data analyst before departing in 2020. He returned to First Community Bank in October 2021 as a commercial loan analyst, was promoted to CRA specialist in January 2022 and advanced to consumer online banking manager in October 2022. In his current role, he continues to lead the bank’s digital banking initiatives while supporting innovation and enhancing customer experience.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Physical Education from Arkansas State University and is a BankersHub Certified eBanking Professional. Richardson is also currently enrolled in the Barrett Graduate School of Banking.

“Ronald’s leadership, technical expertise and commitment to innovation have played an important role in the continued growth of our digital banking services,” said Judy Swaim, senior vice president and chief operations officer. “He consistently looks for ways to improve the customer experience while supporting our employees with the tools and resources they need to succeed. This promotion is a reflection of his dedication and the positive impact he continues to make across our organization.”

Outside of the bank, Richardson is active in the community as the play-by-play voice for Batesville Pioneer football and Lyon College basketball. He also serves as the public address announcer for Lyon College football and Batesville Pioneer basketball and track and field and is president of the Lyon College Kilted Army Booster Club.

Richardson and his wife, Deborah, vice president of treasury management operations at First Community Bank, have five children, Alen Richardson, Hannah Ramsey, Gunnar Osborne, Katy Inloes and Walker Osborne, along with 10 grandchildren.
