First Community Bank will host a grand opening celebration at 220 East Ridge Avenue in Harrison on Friday, July 16, with a ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m.
“We are excited about this opportunity to celebrate our first year in business,” said Tabitha Eddington, the bank’s branch manager and lender for Harrison. “We have been so thankful for the support of the community and had hoped to host this event sooner, but unfortunately it had to be postponed due to COVID-19.”
Immediately following the ribbon cutting, a catfish and chicken strip lunch will be provided. While supplies last, First Community Bank will give away free Harrison photo books and t-shirts, as well as various door prizes. Local vendors will be showcased on site. The public is warmly invited to attend and celebrate.
Photographs from several local artists have been selected for the interior décor of the bank. Artists include: Mike Armstrong, Michael Tomlinson, Beth Crenshaw, Rita Szabo, Grant Scarsdale, Cameron Whitmore, Ariel Saulter, Justin Smith, Roger Patton, Wilma Pollock, Julie Graves, Tyler Thompson, Lisa Carlon, Jon Saxon, Madison Sisco, Martina Berti, Ivan Plunk, Femke Rooijackers, Noelle Cofransesco, Brooks Burnside, and Noelle Hutchcraft.
In addition to Boone County, the bank also has locations in Baxter, Craighead, Faulkner, Independence, Jackson, Lonoke, Sharp, Poinsett, Pulaski and White counties, as well as McDonald and Newton counties in Southwest Missouri.
The downtown location opened on February 1, 2020, and is a one-stop financial center offering a variety of financial services to its customers. The bank’s lobby and drive-thru are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. First Community Bank offers competitive loan and deposit products and an impressive array of online and mobile banking services.
