First Community Bank has announced that Leann Siler has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial lending & regional retail lending manager for the financial institution. In her role, Siler is responsible for managing an individual loan portfolio as well as overseeing retail lending for the region, with the overall objective of maintaining and increasing asset quality as well as to develop new and existing business relationships while meeting the credit needs in the community.

“As a charter member of the bank, I am happy to have been a part of First Community Bank’s growth and success story," said Siler. “It amazes me how we have grown from 14 original employees to now nearly 600 employees with 33 branches in 26 years. Through the years, many of my customers have become like family, and I have made many friendships. To me, banking is all about helping people in our communities and developing relationships.”

Siler’s banking career began in 1982, and she has gained insurmountable experience from a variety of roles in the industry including past positions as a teller, loan assistant, and a lender.  Siler was instrumental in the development and successful launch of the financial institution’s inaugural Women’s Mentorship Program in 2022. The program has grown from 26 participants the first year to 62 participants at present.

Siler further stated, “I have had so many mentors in my banking career. So, I know the importance of having someone give you advice and encouragement.”

Siler is a 1998 graduate of Mid-South School of Banking at University of Memphis. She is married to Rick Siler, and together they have four children and seven grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s various activities.

“In our 41 years of working together, Leann has consistently shown dedication to our customers, colleagues, and the community,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer for First Community Bank. “Her tenured lending expertise and proven ability to perform make her the right choice for this new strategic role in our company. She is a trusted partner with her customers and those who work alongside her across our company.”
