First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Parker Murray to consumer lender, serving the Harrison and Lead Hill markets.

In his new role, Murray will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships while providing a full range of lending services. He will work closely with individuals and families to assess financial needs and recommend solutions to help them achieve their goals. Murray will also represent the bank at community and professional events throughout the Harrison area.

Murray brings nearly six years of banking experience to his new position. He began his career as a teller before advancing to new accounts and later serving as a loan assistant, where he spent the past four years building a strong foundation in lending. He joined First Community Bank three years ago and has continued to grow within the organization.

“This promotion is what I have been working toward since my first day as a loan assistant,” said Murray. “I shared my goals with Tabitha during my interview, and she told me the sky is the limit with First Community Bank. After four years as a loan assistant, I’m excited to expand my knowledge and step into a lending role while continuing to serve our customers and community.”

Murray earned his bachelor’s degree in general business from Missouri State University in 2024 while working full-time. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors.

“Parker has demonstrated a strong commitment to both our customers and his professional growth,” said Tabitha Roberts, community president for the Harrison area. “He has built a solid foundation in lending and consistently goes above and beyond to support his team and our customers. I am excited to see him step into this role and continue making a positive impact in the Harrison community.”
