First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Michelle Reesor to executive vice president, operations and risk.

In her expanded leadership role, Reesor oversees the bank’s operations and risk functions, providing strategic leadership for operational excellence, enterprise risk management, project management, policy development and organizational initiatives that support the bank’s continued growth. She also plays a key role in strategic planning, new market expansion and the successful execution of major bank projects.

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities First Community Bank has provided throughout my career,” Reesor said. “It is an honor to continue serving alongside such a talented team and to help lead an organization that remains committed to our customers, our employees and the communities we serve. As we continue to grow, I look forward to building on the strong foundation we’ve established while maintaining the culture and values that have made First Community Bank successful.”

Reesor has more than 39 years of experience in the financial industry and was one of the original 14 employees who helped open First Community Bank in 1997. She serves on the bank’s executive committee, product development team and numerous internal committees that help guide the organization’s strategic direction. Reesor is a graduate of Lyon College and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

Reesor is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. She is also a past board member of United Way of Independence County and a member of Concord First Baptist Church. Reesor and her husband, Jerry, have two sons, Clint (Whitney) and Cameron (Hannah), and four grandchildren, Elliot, Opal Jane, Auggie and Ruby. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

“Michelle has played a vital role in First Community Bank’s success since our doors opened nearly three decades ago,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer. “Her leadership, experience and unwavering commitment to excellence have helped position our organization for continued growth while ensuring we remain focused on serving our customers and managing risk responsibly. Michelle is a trusted member of our executive leadership team, and this promotion is a well-deserved recognition of her many contributions.”
